First flight
Take to the airs! Free yourself from your routine!
Flights can be organised all year long, on days where the weather conditions are favourable.
At dawn or just before twilight, when nature offers its most splendid light, our team will arrange to meet you at the most appropriate take-off area (chosen by the pilot in accordance with the forecasted winds).
If you wish you may take part in the flight preparation (spreading and inflating of the envelope).
Ballon Bleu Horizon first flights
Thanks to his 18 years’ experience in air transport the pilot will welcome you aboard in the safest conditions possible.
Throughout the whole flight the pilot remains in radio contact with the pursuit team who will then join up with you for the landing, in the middle of the countryside!
You will therefore be flying worry free!
We will present you with a certificate during our traditional toast afterwards, and then we’ll drive you back to the take-off area in a 4 X 4 vehicle.
Some precautions to take in order to fully enjoy your flight:
Choose comfortable clothing, if possible natural fibre rather than synthetic material;
full length trousers and long sleeves, a cap, and walking or sports shoes.
Please alert us of all particular medical conditions.
Some passengers such as pregnant women, people with a heart condition, or with respiratory problems, with a disability or a hip replacement, will only be accepted on board in the
possession of a medical certificate issued by a doctor, confirming their aptitude to take a hot air balloon ride.
